What is HIFU?
HIFU Stands for High Intensity Focused Ultrasound.
It’s one of the leading treatments for non-surgical Face Lift.
The High Intensity focused ultrasound energy generates 65 degrees of heat which is delivered to accurate depths of the skin, without any damage to the surrounding tissues to help firm and tighten your skin.
It can treat all areas of the face, including forehead, under eyes and around the mouth. It can also be used on multiple body areas such as chin, neck, décolletage, breasts, upper and lower abdomen, love handles, thighs and arms.
HIFU reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, helps to lift and firm sagging skin as well as rejuvenates the overall appearance, by stimulating collagen production. It’s also very effective in reducing stubborn fat deposits in multiple areas.
It can be used in combination with any other aesthetic treatments, such as anti-wrinkles injections, dermal fillers, micro needling, LED phototherapy and fat dissolving injections.
What to expect?
The procedure is extremely safe, it requires no anaesthetic and it’s totally non-invasive. No needles or injections.
There is zero downtime with this treatment and results can be seen after as little as 1 treatment. Best results appear after 4 to 6 months, post treatment.
The procedure is very well tolerated, with only minimal discomfort felt by some patients.
Immediately after the treatment the skin can be slightly red and feel tight, tingly and swollen.
This sensation usually resolves by itself within hours and with no need to take any medications.
The procedure usually requires more than one treatment, over several months, for optimal results.
