Cellulite

Cellulite manifests as skin dimpling, due to fat herniation. Thighs and buttocks are the worst affected areas.

It’s very common in women, post puberty. It affects up to 90% of women.

Cellulite has multifactorial etiology; contributing factors are genetic, hormones, changes in metabolism, pregnancy, obesity, poor diet, poor exercise.

Lifestyle modifications such as a change in diet, weight loss and increase in exercise can cause a significant reduction in cellulite appearance.

Mesotherapy injections and Platelets Rich Plasma (PRP), in the affected areas, can also significantly reduce the appearance of cellulite, resulting in a smoother, healthier looking skin.
